In recent months we have been working with a new proctor provider. This will mean that there will be some changes to the exam process versus previous years, these changes will make the process simpler but will require an additional explanation. We will be going live with this update for exams on the 6th of December at 10am CET. This means the earliest a test can be booked will be on the 7th of December, this is due to the 24 hour mandatory wait time. If you are directly affected by this you will also be directly contacted by us.
In order to book an exam you will need to sign onto you OMPT account, there is a link here.
We have a step by step process for the new way to do things.
Firstly, you will need to have purchased the necessary exam. Once this is completed you will notice a button appear that will take you to the testing site. Navigate to the button shown under the "tests" heading, this is has not appeared please make sure you have already purchased the exam.
After you have clicked on this button you will be taken to a second screen where you will need to finish off the last stages of registration for the exam with our new provider Examity. The account will already be mostly created there is just some final confirmation that you need to complete, the information will mostly be filled out but will need to be checked.
After this set up you will be prompted to test your equipment. If possible please do this so you can be sure that your set up will work on test day.
After completing the equipment test you will then be taken to the exam dashboard. You will see on this dashboard various things, but most importantly you will see the exams you have already purchased. Navigate to the exam and click "Schedule Exam".
You will then be taken to the scheduling window. Please select what is convenient for you. YOU CANNOT SCHEDULE AN EXAM WITH LESS THAN 24 HOURS WAIT. What this means is if you want to sit and exam you will need to have booked this 24 hours before you intend to start.
You will then receive this window below confirming the booking and you will also get an email with the same contents.
The exam will then change on your dashboard to reflect this.
